Handi Foods respects the principles of dignity, integration, and equal opportunity for all people. We are committed to identifying and removing barriers that prevent accessibility, and we will integrate our commitment whenever possible to meet the accessibility needs of people with disabilities promptly. Our fundamental goal for the accessibility plan will be on improving accessibility within the following areas:


Handi Foods provides training on accessibility laws and the Human Rights Code related to people with disabilities.

Customer Service

Handi Foods strives to provide its goods and service in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities. We are committed to giving people with disabilities the same opportunity to access our goods and services similar to other clients/customers.

Information and Communication

Handi Foods is committed to meeting the communication needs of people with disabilities, and we will work with them to determine their specific information and communication needs.


Handi Foods is committed to fair and accessible employment practices and will accommodate people with disabilities during the recruitment and assessment processes and hiring. Our Human Resources team will share our commitment throughout the selection process, including advising new hires of our accommodation policies and update staff on any changes to these policies as applicable. Handi Foods will continue to develop individual accommodation plans and return to work policies for employees that have been absent due to disability. We will ensure to have a written process to document individualized plans clearly and consistently.
